About the role
Aspire Housing is going through an exciting period of transformation, and as part of our improved way of working we are seeking a Technical Maintenance Surveyor to support our Responsive Repairs and Voids (Empty Homes) teams.
In line with our 2026 strategy and corporate values, we recognise the importance of “putting the customer at the heart of what we do and getting the job right first time”. This role will be an integral part of the service delivery team in meeting the needs of our customers and the business.
You will have at least two years’ post qualification experience in a social housing maintenance surveying role, along with a solid understanding of core trades. Supporting the Home Maintenance Service Operations Managers’ you will carry out surveys and property inspections throughout the housing stock in line with current legislation. Being proficient to inspect, specify and diagnose works in a construction related environment utilising the Nat fed 8 rates, you will scope the works, materials, and plant required while ensuring value for money and high-quality service delivery for our Aspire customers.
You will also be overseeing the delivery of subcontracted repairs, ensuring repairs are completed in accordance with Aspire standards and timeframes demonstrating “what a good job looks like,” being professional with a right first-time approach, in supporting the Home Maintenance Team to reach their full potential.
