  • Team Leader: £44,393 per annum
  • Operative: £37,000–£39,995 (dependent on experience)

We are recruiting for:
✅ A Team Leader with significant experience managing multi‑disciplined teams and deep knowledge of damp, mould and condensation challenges in social housing
✅ Several Complex Repairs Operatives with strong multi‑trade skills, excellent diagnostic capability, and a clear understanding of how to resolve and prevent damp, mould and condensation issues


About the New Team

This newly formed team will be responsible for ensuring Aspire complies with emerging legal requirements while delivering a high‑quality, responsive, customer‑focused complex repairs service.

  • Deliver repairs with precision and consistency
  • Identify root causes and prevent future issues
  • Drive compliance with Awaab’s Law and wider housing standards
  • Help design new processes, systems and best‑practice approaches
  • Improve outcomes for customers and safeguard their wellbeing

About the Roles

Team Leader

As Team Leader, you will oversee the performance, quality and development of this new specialist team. You will:

  • Lead and coach a multi‑disciplined team delivering complex repairs
  • Ensure full compliance with Awaab’s Law and internal regulatory standards
  • Support the design and evolution of processes, systems and reporting frameworks
  • Provide expert guidance on damp, mould and condensation cases
  • Work collaboratively with surveyors, compliance teams and service managers

You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience leading operational teams
  • Extensive knowledge of damp, mould and condensation in social housing
  • Confidence in service improvement and change delivery
  • A customer‑centred, solutions‑focused approach

Complex Repairs Colleagues

As a expert colleague, you will carry out detailed inspections, diagnose root causes, and deliver multi‑trade repairs that fully resolve issues in customers’ homes.

Your work will include:

  • Investigation and accurate diagnosis of damp, mould and condensation
  • Delivery of effective repair solutions and preventative works
  • Multi‑trade tasks across joinery, plastering, plumbing, decorating, general building and property maintenance
  • Completion of planned upgrades where required
  • Use of digital tools to record outcomes, triage cases and support compliance
  • Providing clear, supportive customer advice

You will need:

  • Solid multi‑trade experience and confidence handling complex repairs
  • Strong social housing, construction or property maintenance background
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to high‑quality workmanship
  • A full valid driving licence
